The holidays are here once again, and at ABLE United, we’re reflecting on a wonderful year of serving our account holders. Because we’re numbers people, we measure that somewhat in hard data: there are now more than 1,500 ABLE United accounts, with more than $6 million in contributions. Those are numbers we’re proud of and we look forward to watching them grow as you help us spread the word about ABLE United.
But we’re not just numbers people – we’re people-people, too, allies who share your dreams for a more secure financial future for you and your loved ones. We watch the numbers grow and know they represent many account holders’ dream to live independently, a dream we hope grows ever closer. We imagine our account holders purchasing that first car, or reporting for their first day at a job enabled by vocational training.
We take every opportunity we can to share our good news and ask you to help us pass it along: that Floridians with qualifying disabilities (with onset before age 26) can finally save without impacting their federal benefits. You can learn the details here.
