Rish Park
Port St. Joe, FL
Rish Park is a 100-acre recreational park specifically designed by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) to give individuals with disabilities a safe, accessible and fun beach experience. Florida residents with disabilities and their family and friends are invited to spend the day or extended visit on the beach, observing coastal wildlife from nearby piers, swimming in the Olympic sized pool or just enjoying the refreshing sea air.

Dolphin Research Center

Dolphin Research Center is a nonprofit marine mammal education and research facility dedicated to the peaceful interaction between dolphins and humans. Visitors can learn more about marine mammals through educational programs, play in a small waterpark area or participate in an interactive experience with the dolphins. The Dolphin Research Center is completely wheelchair accessible and offers special assistance for children and adults with cognitive and physical limitations who would like to interact with the dolphins.
Kennedy Space Center
One of Florida’s most popular destinations, Kennedy Space Center attracts more than 1.5 million visitors every year. And it’s no wonder – from space flight simulators to guided tours, there’s something for all ages. Individuals with disabilities can take advantage of all that Kennedy Space Center has to offer, thanks to the facility’s accessibility. In addition to on-site accessibility equipment and closed captioning for presentations, the popular Shuttle Launch Experience, offers options to allow individuals with disabilities to join the fun.
