Meet Amanda, a 37-year-old culinary enthusiast who calls Tallahassee home. With a degree in Information Technology from Keiser University, Amanda exemplifies how education and determination can pave the way for a fulfilling life.
Born and raised in Tallahassee, Amanda has built a life surrounded by the people she loves. In her free time, she enjoys watching TV, playing video games, and spending quality time with friends and family. But Amanda is not just about leisure; she works at Independence Landing, a vital resource in her community that supports individuals with disabilities.
Another important resource Amanda uses, particularly as a safety net for financial emergencies, is her ABLE United account. ABLE United accounts are designed to empower individuals with disabilities to save for their future while maintaining their Social Security benefits. For Amanda, this means having a safety net for life’s important milestones.
“I use my account to save for birthdays, Christmas, vacation, or even emergencies,” Amanda shares. “It gives me peace of mind knowing I can save without worrying about losing my Social Security.”
