What is the Prepaid Card?
The ABLE Visa® Prepaid Card, managed by True Link Financial, is an optional, convenient, and secure way to access your ABLE United funds. It’s not a credit card or a debit card—it’s a reloadable prepaid card that helps you stay in control of your savings.
Use it to pay for everyday qualified expenses like groceries, medical bills, or transportation. Set limits, monitor transactions, and enjoy peace of mind knowing your spending is aligned with your financial goals.
How to Get Your Prepaid Card
1. Sign up for an ABLE Visa® Prepaid Card
Log in to your ABLE United account, and request an ABLE Visa® Prepaid Card through the dashboard.
2. Load your funds
Once the ABLE Visa® Prepaid Card is activated and the card settings are customized, withdraw money directly from your ABLE United account to your ABLE Visa® Prepaid Card.
3. Shop for eligible expenses
Use the ABLE Visa® Prepaid Card online and in stores anywhere that Visa debit cards are accepted.
How to Use the Prepaid Card
Load and enjoy
Load up to $5,000 a day, up to a card balance of $20,000. Use the card anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted - like restaurants, doctors office, or even online shopping!
Be in control
Set limits on spending and block certain merchant types. Receive real-time alerts when you make a purchase.
Know your balance
Always know how much money is available and track your spending with easy access online or through the mobile app.
Helpful Tip:
Spending is limited to funds loaded on the ABLE Visa® Prepaid Card
If there are not enough funds on the ABLE Visa Card to cover a purchase, that transaction will simply be declined. There are no overdraft fees.
Important Information
To avoid confusion, here are a few things to keep in mind:
- It’s not a credit card
- It’s not a debit card linked to your bank account
- Funds may take 2-3 business days to transfer from your ABLE account to the card
- It’s not for cash withdrawals or non-qualified expenses
Remember, it doesn’t replace managing your ABLE account—it’s just one tool to help you spend your funds conveniently .
