Built for Veterans Who Want Financial Control
What is ABLE United?
ABLE United is Florida’s #1 disability savings program. It helps people with disabilities save and invest tax-free for everyday needs and long-term goals.
Why ABLE United Exists
Many traditional savings options can put benefits at risk. ABLE United was created so individuals with eligible disabilities can save for what matters most, all while protecting these important benefits.
Why This Matters to Veterans
Because of the ABLE Age Adjustment Act, more veterans now qualify than ever! If your severe condition or disability began before age 46, ABLE United offers you a flexible way to plan, save, and move forward with confidence.
Eligibility: Does a Disabled Veteran Qualify?
You may qualify if:
Be a Florida resident.
Have a qualifying severe diagnosis or disability with onset before age 46.
Meet one of the following:
(1) Receive SSI or SSDI benefits.
(2) Have a diagnosis that meets the Social Security Administration's Blue Book definition.
(3) Obtain a signed diagnosis from a licensed physician.
Important to Note: VA and Social Security use different disability standards. If you do not receive Social Security Disability Insurance or Supplemental Security Income, you may still be eligible by confirming your severe condition or disability began before age 46.

Why Veterans Choose ABLE United
ABLE accounts are designed to support independence, not limit it.
