Big news for Florida’s disability community: as of January 1, more individuals than ever before are eligible to open an ABLE United account and experience the freedom to save while maintaining their public benefits.
Thanks to the Age Adjustment Act, anyone whose severe diagnosis or disability began before age 46—may now qualify to join ABLE United, Florida’s #1 Disability Savings Program.
A Historic Expansion of Access
For nearly a decade, ABLE United has helped individuals with a severe diagnosis or disability save and invest confidently while protecting critical benefits like SSI and Medicaid.

If the onset of the severe diagnosis or disability began before age 46, you may now qualify for an ABLE United account, allowing you to save up to $20,000 per year, grow your money tax-free, and spend it on your terms.
